Ek deewana tha-Vinnaithandi Varuvaya(Hindi remake)"There was a mad man" thats the meaning of "Ek deewana tha".Confused,no confusion guys.Its the upcoming Bollywood romantic drama film.Its nothing but the hindi remake of the tamil movie "Vinnaithandi varuvaya" directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.The remake has also been done by Gautham.So who equals Simbu in hindi,its Pratiek babbar.The opposite is played by Amy jackson.Its her first film in hindi.The music has been scored by Oscar winning A.R.Rahman.The romantic film has been taken to the next level with a little more flavour.It has got all things that a romantic film requires.Pratiek has taken the role of Simbu and Amy Trisha's role.The film was intially titled as "Prem katha(love story),since the director expected a different title just like the original.The film has been produced by Fox star studios ,Photon kathas and R.S Infotainment.

The movie is set to hit the screen in January,2012.
